Hill called it a "recalibration" for his own artistry and a "lovely reminder of why you're an artist." During his travels, Hill met deaf dancer Shaheem Sanchez, a cabaret troupe called the Grant Avenue Follies and musicians Amythyst Kiah and Bassel Almadani—among others.
